Exclusive Knight Elements V2 Ultra Kukri Folder

All of the MK Ultra series of knives were designed by Jason Knight and released collaboratively with Doug Marcaida. The following design was part of a series released at Blade Show 2017 and the entire series won best collaboration of the year with Fox Cutlery.

Jason and I went back to the drawing board and made some subtle design changes and we are truly elated to be releasing this Version 2 (V2) under the Knight Elements Brand. The following changes were made in regards to the V2 Ultra Kukri Folders.
•One Screw Pocket Clip;
•Larger relief when disengaging the lockbar.
Furthermore the folks that have both version have raved that the feel is quite different and they absolutely love the V2 version.

    Kukiri folder

    Posted by Scruz on 8th Jan 2021

    This knife is top quality. Came with a super sharp and even factory edge. The color of the g10 and black coated titanium is spot on, they match very well. This knife is big but that’s not a bad thing. Pocket clip is very tight so it might be difficult in thicker material pockets, or just might need to be broken in. Smooth action on bearings. Steel lock bar insert and what appears to be carbonized locking interface on the blade where it meets the lock bar. Minimalist packaging; just a cardboard box which I’m fine with, also got a funny sticker with a caricature of Jason Knight. No paperwork included so not sure what the stance is on warranty, repairs, or sharpening surfaces. Overall a quality product that’s not hit the spotlight too much on YouTube etc.

    I couldn't find anything I don't like about this knife. The fit and finish is perfect, as are the mechanics. Beautiful folder with a very sharp edge. Also Extremely pleased with the customer service I've received from Tactical Elements.

    I’ve wanted the Mk for a long time, finally pulled the trigger on the V2. I love it. It’s solid, perfectly centered, and is smooth as hell when opening. The knife is pretty damn big I read the dimensions so I wasn’t surprised. Great knife is buy it again, keep the great products coming.

    Ease of carry - 10 Ease of open - 10 positive locking - 10 construction quality - 10 blade design - 10 blade edge - 10 ease of unlock - 7 Over all i really love this knife. I think the ratings tell my whole story easy enough. The ONLY thing i would change and this is just a personal preference, i would love the handle to be a little heavier. It feels a little light for my taste.

    Knight Elements V2 Ultra Kukri Folder

    This beast is amazing! Not only does it function great as a general use EDC , it is also a great self defense edged weapon. It lends itself to either need equally. I purchased the canvas micarda version because I like the grip you get from micarta. You cannot go wrong with either version of this beast. It is made with quality materials and the fit and finish is exact. Get one while you can!

    FMA Practitioner Review

    Posted by Thomas S on 11th Aug 2020

    The lines and size of this knife are very nice. I have trained and teaching FMA for over 18 years and have a lot of time and hands on with several different blades. Let me break down why this is a good knife and some issues I keep reading that I can help clear anything for someone who is looking to purchase this. First off I purchased this to have a new daily carry knife. The size of it is on the larger end of a pocket knife as it should be it is a freaking Kukri for heaven sakes people. Please read the size of the knife as they posted the specs of it, so you have known what you were getting. The full length fullers really help with the balance and weight of the knife. The knife opens smoothly and does not catch. I will have to agree with some people it does need a little extra oil but I mean a drop or so. The big complaint is people can not close it one handed and have to use two hands is probably because they have tiny hands do not understand how a frame safety closing mechanism works. I have no problem in flow or moving around opening or closing it one handed. You just have to train you self to close it slightly differently. The only real adjustment I had to make was the pocket clip to give it a little less hold/pressure so it can be drawn quickly. Yes Fox Knives does make this knife, NO they are not a bad company. They make some good knives in fact. I feel that there might be a slight inconsistency in the batch, but that happens sometimes in manufacturing. Overall I am happy I purchased it. I plan on getting some for gifts and some fixed as well. That should hopefully help some of you. Thank you Tactical Elements for selling this knife and others.
