Thank you for visiting Tactical Elements. When I first envisioned what this business would be about, I stopped to reflect on the memories and people I have met along the way. One thing that I quickly realized when entering the world of knives is that the people you surround yourself with truly do have an impact on your outlook. The knife community is one filled with crazy amounts of talent and those talents are attached to some of the nicest, most humble and truly genuine people you will ever meet. I am honored to call many of these makers, collectors and enthusiasts my friends and family. At Tactical Elements I want to share with you some of the coolest things that I have come across. It may be something that we carry, a collaboration we have in the works or it may simply be something that is just so cool that I have to share it. If one takes the time to look back at the greats and legends of this community, they will see those same creations present in many of the modern knives today. I believe that one should take a look at the greats before us, as well as watching the upcoming makers who are also pushing the limits and striving to improve daily. I am truly humbled and thankful for all of the support many of you folks have provided me.
Assistant Chief to the Grand Poobah
The man behind the scenes... I suppose I should go ahead and introduce myself. I'm the Assistant Chief to the Grand Poobah and like many of you, I love all things knives, gear and related items. I have been apart of the knife community since 2004 and through that community, made many a great friendships with many people. I was honored to be asked to be a part of Tactical Elements because I know the passion and enthusiasm that the Grand Poobah has in sharing makers with the world. I do my best to give an accurate and clean shot of the products offered so that you know exactly what you are getting. It's an amazing experience getting to see these items in person and can only imagine the joy that the customers have when a piece is added to their collection. The one major thing that drew me to taking part in Tactical Elements, Inc is the fun to be had and re-injected into this hobby of ours.

By purchasing any item on our website, the buyer assumes all responsibility to follow all applicable federal, state, Provincial, local and international laws in having, owning, receiving, carrying, shipment, transportation, and use of any of the products we carry. Tactical Elements Inc. is not liable for misuse of any products we carry. By purchasing, you agree that you are the legal age to buy such products and be at least over 18 years of age (or older if local law requires). Please use common sense and use these items as intended and for their intended purposes.
Privacy and Security
- We value you as a customer and will never share, sell or otherwise compromise any part of your information.
- Our website features a built in, dedicated security feature as well as a Geotrust certificate. Your private information is secured and we do not have access to this information.
Promotions and Discounts
- Certain rare or one-of-a-kind items are excluded from discounts and promotional codes.
Refunds and Returns
Return Time Frame:
Customers have seven days to return the item from the date of arrival of their package according to the shipping company tracking information. Please get in touch with us before sending any item back as sometimes we might be help resolve the issue.
Condition of Return/Packaging:
All items being returned must be in original condition with packaging, and please make sure you have insured the package. If we don't receive it, or it's damaged, there isn't much we can do. If the item isn't in its original packaging, there is a 15% restocking fee instead of the below-listed restocking fee charges.
Return Restocking Fees:
There is a 10% restocking fee for any returns/orders being canceled. If the mistake was ours, such as the wrong item/finish being sent, we will waive these fees.
Furthermore, we have seen a significant increase in customers placing orders and canceling them right away before shipping. Our payment processors do not refund their fees, and therefore we must charge restocking fees even if we haven't shipped the item out. We didn't do this for a long time, but it's becoming quite normal, and we can't take these losses as a small business.
Return Shipping Fees:
Return shipping fees are the customer's responsibility unless the mistake was ours. If the error was ours, we would send the customer a return shipping label. Furthermore, if the item was shipped using the free shipping method, we will also be charging the customer these shipping fees on top of the restocking fee upon a return.
Refund Time Frame:
If all is satisfactory with the returned item the refund will be processed within five business days back to your original payment method. It takes anywhere between 5-7 business days to receive the refunded amount back on your payment method after we have initiated a refund. This time frame is set by our payment processor, and we do not have any control over the speed.

Shipping and Delivery
- All items are located in the United States and will ship from there.
- Orders may only be shipped to the 50 United States and Military APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
- Orders usually ship within 2 business days of being placed on our site.
- Certain items cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes due to carrier restrictions or package size. A physical street address will be required for delivery.
- At this time, we only ship via USPS Priority Mail or USPS Ground Advantage.
- Shipping will not occur on Sundays or Government Holidays.
- Each order will have a set shipping price rate attached to the item. If the total amount of shipping you pay exceeds the shipping rate of said product, we will either credit you with store credit or refund you the excessive shipping charge.
- All orders are shipped via our standard service within the United States. Enjoy complimentary shipping on orders exceeding $99. Please note that additional shipping fees may apply to certain rare, oversized, or overweight items.
- We aren't able to ship automatic knives to the following states:
- Connecticut
- Hawaii
- Minnesota
- New Jersey
- New Mexico
- New York
- Washington or the District of Columbia
Warranty
- Every item we sell may have a warranty with their respective maker and/or company.
- If an issue arises, please contact us first because many times any issue can be resolved by a simple email.
- If we cannot resolve the issue, we will advise you on the best way to contact said maker and/or company
- We cannot personally guarantee all products, but all products we offer are new from the maker and/or company.
- All warranty claims including imperfections will be handled by the manufacturer.
