Here’s a really cool piece of vintage Seki, Japan. The Tsuge Combat-I was made by Hiro Knives Co., Ltd., one of the names that helped define modern Seki knife production.
Hiro produced knives for Browning, Puma, and a number of other companies over the years, and the quality is exactly what you’d expect. The Combat-I is pure old-school Japanese combat knife which is a little unusual, and from an era of Seki production that we absolutely love.
These older Japanese pieces are getting harder and harder to come across, especially in nice condition. If vintage Seki is your thing, this is definitely one worth taking a closer look at.
