The 11.5" Jenny Wren Hammer Poll is a compact, cutting and chopping tool that fits in great with a wide range of outdoor adventures. Tomahawks are great kit for the in woods, survival situations, etc. The smaller size of the Jenny Wren makes them easy to stuff inside of a kit bag and they stow away easily in small areas making them a great "Truck Hawk". Around camp it is a versatile tool for cutting wood, food preparation, clearing the campsite, fire starting and countless additional cutting chores. The tomahawk features a hammer poll for hammering things like tent spikes, ground anchors or anything that needs to be forcefully hammered.
The Jenny Wren Hammer Poll is made from 1/4" 80CRV2 carbon steel (57-58 HRC), they are wrapped up in Black Cerakote for low viz look. The tomahawk has 3D contoured G10 handle scales that offer a sure grip in wet and dry conditions. The handles are secured with Grade 5 Titanium fasteners.
The main edge measures 2 5/8", designed for heavy use in the field, chopping through anything you need to cut including brush, branches, and additional chores fit for the the use of a sharp blade. The head, from the forward edge to the end of the spike is 5 3/4". The spike itself is 1 3/4" long, enough to penetrate or breach a variety of objects such as, car locks, windows, doors, tires, and many more. When using this tool outdoors the spike makes a great digging tool, and it be used to drag logs.
We include a molded Kydex Bottom-Eject Scabbard with low ride straps for belt carry.
