G & O Massaro – It’s from XIV century that in Maniago, town located in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 100 Km north-east from Venice, there is a knife manufacturing activity. The cutlery items production started with artisanal and homemade products and then, during the following years and centuries, the craftmen started organizing themselves, creating factories and starting to adopt industrial production systems. After several attempts to create a group of local manufacturers, in 1960 was born the Consorzio Coltellinai Maniago, association created by a group of Maniago companies with the goal of promoting worldwide local products that are supported by reliability and guarantee of a quality mark that rightly belong to “Made in Italy” Specifications:
