Meet the VZ EDC. No.2 Gen2 G-10 Pencil, the evolved version of our original “definitely-not-a-pencil” pencil. Same sneaky silhouette, same unapologetic attitude, now slightly thicker than the OG for a more substantial feel in hand and pocket.
At a glance, it still passes for an innocent No.2. At closer inspection, it’s clear this thing skipped art class and went straight to boot camp.
Machined from solid G-10 right here in the USA, the Gen2 laughs at moisture, temperature swings, drops, and general abuse. It’s lightweight, absurdly durable, and completely uninterested in snapping like a real pencil would. Rain? Sweat? Regret? Doesn’t care.
The updated diameter gives you a more confident grip and a little extra presence without sacrificing concealability. It still disappears into a pocket, pack, or wallet pen loop—but now it fills the hand just a bit more when you need it to.
And yes, it’s still bright yellow. Because subtlety is overrated and losing your gear is annoying.
